Recent Washington State Legislation requires that information on Level 3 (most serious) sex offenders be available on County web sites. In compliance with this law (RCW 4.24.550), the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office provides the following information on these offenders living in Columbia County. These individuals have served the sentence imposed on them by the courts. They are not wanted by law enforcement at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather it is our belief that an informed public is a safer public. BAKER, George Russell
George Baker was convicted in Clark County, Washington of rape in the 3rd degree. Baker is currently residing in the 300 block of West Clay Street in Dayton, WA.

FLETCHER, Thomas A. aka/ "Tiny" Fletcher
Thomas Fletcher was released from custody on 12-22-99 after serving a sentence for two counts of child molestation in the first degree. Fletcher was convicted of molesting three 5 to 7-year-old males by fondling their genital area. At times he had all three boys sleeping in the nude with him, where various other sexual acts were committed. He also engaged in physical and verbal abuse and made threats to the victims. Fletcher established relationships with these children by providing child care services. Fletcher has not been involved in sex offender treatment while incarcerated. He has been established as being a high risk to re-offend. Fletcher currently resides in the 500 block of South 5th Street in Dayton, WA.

GATZ, Andrew Bryce
Andrew Gatz was convicted in 1997 of rape of a child in the third degree as a result of forcing a 13-year-old female child to have sexual intercourse with him on two occasions. He was also convicted in 1993 of rape of a child in the first degree for offending against a 5-year-old boy. Gatz voluntarily committed himself for sex offender treatment in 2001 but left treatment against his therapist’s wishes on 01-29-03. His most recent incarceration was for felony assault and a firearms offense, for which he served 14 months, being released in May, 2006. Gatz currently resides in the 100 block of East Commercial Avenue in Dayton, WA.
